Dr. Amit Sharma is Consultant Spine Surgeon practicing spinal surgery in Mumbai since 2011. He treats all kind of spinal problems related to cervical, thoracic and lumbo-sacral area (neck, upper back and lower back).
He was trained for Orthopaedic Surgery at the prestigious KEM Hospital, Mumbai; considered one of the best institutes to provide orthopaedic surgery training in India.
Among his three years of training in USA, Dr. Sharma was trained at top orthopaedic institute in USA (Hospital for Special Surgery, New York) for adult degenerative spine problems; and adult as well as pediatric spinal deformity (Scoliosis and Kyphosis) correction surgeries. Dr. Sharma also did one year of exclusive pediatric orthopedic work at Children’s Hospital New Orleans, USA where he was trained for pediatric spinal surgeries.
Dr. Sharma has been extensively involved in research in the Field of orthopedic surgery and has published many articles in international journals. He has presented his research work in various national and international meetings.
