Dr Yogesh Vaidya is a Consultant Joint Replacement & Trauma Surgeon with more than 15 years of experience in managing various orthopaedic problems and performing joint replacement and trauma surgeries.
He has completed his MBBS from LTMMC, Sion, Mumbai in the year 1997. He has done his post graduation in the field of orthopaedics from the renowned She G S Medical college and KEM hospital, Parel Mumbai.
Thereafter he has worked as a senior registrar in Bhagwati Hosital, Borivali and in the department of plastic surgery at
MGM hospital, Parel. He also worked as a lecturer in orthopaedics at Dr D Y Patil Hospital, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
He has attended observership programme in Joint Replacement Surgery at New Alabany Hospital, Ohio, USA under Dr Adolf Lombardi and Dr Keith Berrand. He has also attended the visiting surgeon programme for Total Knee Replacement at the ZNA Middelheim Hospital , Antwerp, Belgium under Dr P Mertens and Dr K Brabants. He has also attended various Cadaveric training programmes at Chula Lab, Bangkok.
He regularly attends various National and International Conferences to keep himself updated with the latest developments in the field of joint replacement and orthopaedic surgery.
He has been practicing in Thane city since 2004 . Initially he started Orthocare Hospital at Khopat Thane in 2007 which was a 15 bedded speciality centre for orthopaedics and joint replacement surgery. He later expanded his practice to Pinnacle Orthocentre Hospital which is a 50 bedded Orthopaedic Superspeciality Hospital in the heart of Thane City.During this period of practice he has performed more than 5000 surgeries ranging from simple to complex and revision trauma and Joint Replacement Surgeries, both primary as well as revision.
